Father of the Bride is about a successful architect (Andy Garcia) and his ex-wife who must work together for their daughter’s wedding. The movie stars Gloria Estefan, Diego Boneta, Adria Arjona, Chloe Fineman, and Isabel Merced. Andy Garcia and Terence Blanchard are both featured on the soundtrack for the 2022 movie Father of the Bride. Garcia and Arturo Sandoval co-wrote and performed songs on the soundtrack, while Blanchard wrote and produced other songs.
“When I first read the script, I was wondering if they wanted me to do a Latin-based score because the film has some great Latin artists. But, that’s not what Gaz wanted. He wanted a Jazz score to counter what he had already put in the movie.” TERENCE BLANCHARD
